Introduction of rotary tiller

rotary tillerIt is a kind of farming machinery which is matched with the tractor to complete the ploughing and harrowing operation. Because of its strong soil breaking ability and smooth surface after plowing, it has been widely used. At the same time, the stubble buried under the surface can be chopped, which facilitates the operation of the planter and provides a good seedbed for later sowing. According to the arrangement of the rotary cutter shaft, it can be divided into three types: horizontal axis type, vertical axis type and tilt type. The correct use and adjustment of the rotary tiller is very important to maintain the good technical state of the rotary tiller and ensure the quality of farming. The rotary tiller has the functions of breaking the bottom of the plough, restoring the structure of the soil surface, improving the soil water retention capacity, removing some weeds, reducing diseases and insect pests, leveling the ground, and improving the level of agricultural mechanization operations.

The driven soil tillage machine with rotating knife teeth as the working part is also called rotary tiller. According to the arrangement of the rotary cutter shaft, it can be divided into horizontal axis type and vertical axis type. Horizontal axis and horizontal axis rotary tillers are widely used. Grading ability is strong, can make the soil finely broken, soil and fertilizer mixed evenly, make the ground level, meet the requirements of dryland sowing or paddy field planting, is conducive to the cultivation time, improve work efficiency, make full use of tractor power. However, the ability to cover stubble and weeds is poor, the tillage depth is shallow (dry tillage 12~16cm;14~18cm), and the energy consumption is large. Mainly used in rice fields and vegetable fields, but also used in orchard cultivation. The heavy-duty horizontal rotary tiller can reach a depth of 20~25cm and is mostly used to reclaim shrub land, swamps and grassy wasteland.
The rotary tiller has a strong ability to break the soil and is mostly used for the cultivation of shrubs, wetlands and grasslands. The working parts include the rotary cutter roller and several earth-cutting knives arranged evenly according to the multi-head spiral, which are driven by the tractor power output shaft through the transmission device, and the common speed is 190~280 r/min. The direction of rotation of the knife roller is usually the same as the direction of rotation of the tractor wheel. The cutting blade cuts the soil layer from front to back and throws the soil back and up to the cover and carriage to further break it up. When the knife roller cuts and throws the soil, the reaction force of the soil to the knife roller helps to push the unit forward, so the traction required for the horizontal rotary tiller is very small, and sometimes even the knife roller can push the unit forward. Cutting blades can be divided into chisels, curved knives, right-angle knives and arc-shaped knives. The front end of the chisel knife is narrow, the burrowing capacity is good, the energy consumption is low, but it is easy to wrap grass, and is mostly used in gardens and courtyards with fewer weeds. The curved edge of the machete has the functions of sliding and cutting, and it is easy to cut off the grass roots without wrapping the grass, which is suitable for farming in rice fields.
The right-angle cutter has two kinds of vertical and horizontal cutting edges. The cutter body is wide, the rigidity is good, and it is easy to manufacture, but the penetration is poor. The arc-shaped knife has high strength, good rigidity and good sliding effect, and is often used in heavy-duty rotary tiller. When matching with tractors below 15 kW, direct connection is generally used instead of universal joint transmission; when matching with tractors above 15 kW, three-point suspension and universal joint transmission are used; heavy-duty rotary tillers generally use traction type. The tillage depth is controlled and adjusted by a carriage or a depth limiting wheel. The drag plate is located behind the knife roller and plays the role of breaking the earth and leveling; the depth limiting wheel is arranged in front of the knife roller. There are two configurations of the final stage transmission device of the knife roller: side transmission and center transmission. The side drive is mostly used for offset rotary tillers with small tillage width. The central transmission is used for rotary tillers with large tillage width, with good symmetry and uniform stress on the whole machine. However, there is a missing tillage under the transmission box due to the failure of the soil cutting blade, and another device is needed to eliminate the missing tillage.

The correct use and maintenance of the disc harrow: in operation, the technical condition of the rake, scraper, square shaft, bearing, angle adjuster and connecting parts should be checked frequently, especially the end nut of the disc harrow group and the fixing bolts of each bearing. If it is found loose, tighten it in time, and remove the weeds and dirt on the workpiece in time.

How to maintain planter accessories

Planter A planting machine using crop seeds as a planting object. Planters for a certain type or crop are usually named after the crop type, such as wheat planter, cotton planter, etc. Planter accessories are very effective in farmland operations, so the planter accessories are easily damaged. Next, the planter manufacturer will introduce how to maintain the planter accessories. Before using the planter, we should have a simple and comprehensive understanding of the principles of all planter accessories. The planter manufacturer stated that it can be effective as long as the maintenance is carried out on the correct accessories to ensure the normal use of the planter accessories. The planter will extend its life.

Defects in castings and forgings

The defects produced in the casting and forging process are similar to the defects produced in the ingot, but they are still process defects, including pores, inclusions, shrinkage holes, loose holes, cracks, etc.

Production of castings and forgings

Castings and forgings must be melted by electric furnaces, mainly electric arc furnaces and induction furnaces. According to the different lining materials and slag system, can be divided into acidic furnace and alkaline furnace. Carbon steel and low alloy steel can be smelted in any furnace, but high alloy steel can only be smelted in alkaline furnaces.

Inspection of Casting and Forging

The complex information system management interface of casting and forging, such as poor ultrasonic penetration, coarse grain, uneven organization, etc., all enhance the scattering of an ultrasonic wave by students, and the energy can be effectively attenuated, so that the detectable thickness is smaller than that of forgings.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of casting and forging

One of the advantages of casting and forging is the flexibility of design. Personnel design has a large degree of freedom of design choice for the shape and size of castings, especially for parts with complex shapes and hollow sections. Steel castings can be manufactured using a unique process known as core assembly.
