The planter should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse or shed, and avoid open storage. When storing, the shelf should be firmly supported, and the bottle opener and lid should be filled with wooden boards, and do not directly touch the floor. The rubber or plastic seed delivery pipes and fertilizer pipes on the planter should be removed, wiped clean, tied up and stored in boxes or shelves. Sand or hay can be filled into the pipe to avoid squeezing, folding and deformation. After the planter is stored for a long time, it should be maintained and repaired in advance before sowing in the next season to keep the equipment in good technical condition.
Planter maintenance:
Before the operation of the seeder, oil should be injected into each oil injection point in time to ensure that the running parts are fully lubricated. The lost or damaged parts shall be filled, replaced and repaired in time. Be careful not to apply oil on the gears and chains to avoid slime and increased wear. The disc of the disc ditching machine is flexible in rolling, does not shake, and does not rub against the body of the ditching machine. After each shift, the fertilizer in the fertilizer box should be cleaned to avoid corrosion of the fertilizer box and the position of fertilizer discharge. Check whether the sowing shaft and the fertilizing shaft rotate flexibly. After each shift, the planter should be parked in a dry and covered carport. When parking in open air, the cover of fertilizer box should be sealed tightly. When parking, the trencher should be put down, the bracket should be put down to stabilize the fuselage, and reduce unnecessary load on the planter frame.

At the same time, sowing equipment and furrow opener are the main factors affecting the quality of cultivation. Commonly used seeding devices are slot wheel, centrifugal and grinding wheel. Trenchers have hoe shovel type, shoe type, sliding knife type, single disc type and double disc type.
